BIOGRAPHY

Elyse Aeryn makes music for the wild hearts - those who crave connection, catharsis, and a little rebellion. Rooted in honest lived experience, her lyrics resonate because they acknowledge life's struggles while refusing to surrender. Built on guitar-driven roots-rock foundations, her songs invoke decades of empowering anthems, familiar touchstones, and remind listeners why Rock & Roll still has the power to change the world for the better. Whether soundtracking a road trip, a heartbreak, a victory, or a fresh start, Elyse Aeryn creates connections with listeners that go deep - for her fans it’s not just “a” song, it’s “their” song.
Those connections have transformed Elyse Aeryn from a beloved East Coast storyteller into one of Canada's most celebrated independent voices. In 2026, she earned the East Coast Music Award for Release of the Year for her single Unstoppable, a song that became the #1 track on CIOE 97.5 FM's Top 100 Songs of 2025, charted nationally on the Mediabase Canada Active Rock and Canada Country charts, and reached audiences nationwide through Rogers Sportsnet. As Canadian tennis star Vicky Mboko captured the country's attention on her path to victory at the National Bank Open in Montreal, Unstoppable became part of the story by being featured in broadcast montages, commercial bumpers, and other segments throughout the tournament.
The recent success of Unstoppable is not isolated however, and exists in a constellation of career milestones. In 2025, her single Cowboy spent 15 weeks in the Top 100 on the Billboard Canadian Country chart and reached #1 on the Canadian Indie Country Countdown, while the feature track from her 2026 sophomore album, “Cry,” continues to top charts by hitting #1 on the syndicated East Coast Countdown, CIOE Top 30, Canadian Independent Country Chart, and Winnipeg's NOW Country 104.5 Top 40. Elyse was previously named Music Nova Scotia's Entertainer of the Year, won ‘Country Album of the Year’ for her debut ‘Joy State of Mind’, and has established a reputation for delivering high energy performances that leave audiences feeling as connected to her as they do to the songs themselves.
Her second full-length album, Everybody Loves You…, was launched following a severe motorcycle accident which initially delayed the release and cancelled her tour. Ever the fighter, she returned to the stage before a sold-out hometown audience in a performance that embodied the very themes running through her music, proving that resilience isn't just something she sings about, it's something she lives.
